Privacy
This is a small shop run by one person. It collects what it needs to send you a painting and answer your email, and nothing beyond that.

The short version
No cookies are set by this site at all. There are no advertising pixels, no session recording, and no third-party trackers. Nothing follows you here from anywhere else, and nothing follows you away.
There is one exception worth naming plainly: this site counts page views and a couple of shop actions, so I can tell whether anyone is finding the work and whether the basket is working. It is measured by Vercel, who host the site, and it is cookieless and anonymous — no cookie, no device identifier, nothing that builds a profile or follows you between sites, which is why there is no consent banner to click. The counts are aggregate. They cannot be traced back to you, and nothing personal is attached to them.
Your personal information is never sold, rented, or traded. It is used to fulfil your order or answer your message, and for nothing else.
When you buy something
Payment is handled entirely by Stripe, on Stripe’s own checkout page. Your card number never touches this site — it is entered on Stripe’s page and this site never sees it, stores it, or has any way to retrieve it.
To send the parcel, Stripe passes along:
- your name and email address
- your shipping address, and billing address if it differs
- your phone number, which couriers require for delivery
- what you ordered, and what you paid
That order sits in the Stripe dashboard, which is where Deanna Wegenkittl-Baker reads it to pack and post your print, and where a refund is issued from if you need one. Stripe also sends your receipt. Order records are kept as long as ordinary business and tax records require.
When you use the inquiry form
The form sends the topic you picked, your name, your email address and your message through Formspree, which forwards it as an email. It ends up in an inbox and is answered by a person. It is not added to a mailing list — this site has no mailing list.
Your basket
Your basket is stored in your own browser, under wb.cart.v1, and holds only which print and how many. No name, no address, and deliberately no price: the amount is worked out fresh from the catalogue every time the basket is drawn, so a stored figure could never become the figure you are charged.
Nothing in it reaches a server until you press through to checkout, and clearing your browser storage erases it completely.
Hosting and logs
The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps ordinary server logs — including IP addresses — to serve pages and to keep the checkout endpoint from being hammered. These are operational records, not a profile of you, and nobody reads them unless something has broken.
Vercel also provides the page-view and performance measurement described at the top. It records which page was viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and how quickly the page loaded — plus, in the shop, when something is added to a basket and when checkout is opened. No cookie is set and no identifier is stored on your device, so repeat visits are not linked together into a profile. Nothing from the order confirmation page — which briefly shows your name, email and address — is ever included.
Who else sees your information
Only the three services above: Stripe to take payment, Formspree to deliver form mail, Vercel to serve the site. Each processes your information on this shop’s behalf, under its own privacy policy, linked in the sections above. Beyond them, information is disclosed only where the law requires it.
Asking to see it, correct it, or delete it
Canadian privacy law gives you the right to see what is held about you, to have mistakes corrected, and to ask for it to be deleted. Email support@wegenkittl.art and you will get a real answer, not a form response. Some order records have to be kept for tax purposes even after a deletion request, and where that applies it will be explained plainly rather than used as a reason to refuse.
Children
This shop is not directed at children, and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of majority in their province.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. A change that materially affects information already collected will be flagged rather than slipped in quietly.
